Occupation , Business and Technology Education

Introduction to the topics:

1. Define occupation. Give few examples of occupation.

   The work which is done for livelihood is called occupation. 

    Some of the major occupation in Nepal are as follow:

    1. Agriculture: Farming, animal husbandry, floriculture etc.
    2. Service: health, Education, tourism etc.

    3. Manufacturing: Carpet, cement, garment etc.
    3. Trade: shops, groceries etc.

    4. Construction: Road, bridge, house etc. 
    

2. Define business. Give few examples of business.

    

    The activity of buying and selling goods or services to make profit is  called business.

    Some of the major business in Nepal are as follow:

    1. Energy - Hydropower, green energy

    2. Industry and factories

    3. Agriculture 

    4. Hotel and hospitality

3. Define Technology. Give few examples of technology.

    

    The knowledge or technique to solve the problem and make human    life easier is known as technology.

    Some of the major technology in Nepal are as follow:

    1. Local Technology: Aran, pottery, plough etc.

    2. Modern Technology; Internet, computer, AC, etc.
