1.
First of all construct a pit of 3*2*1 ft. in size (L*B*D) over ground surface.

The next step is to fill the pit in four layers.
First layer: It is filled with sandy soil.
Second layer: It is filled with crop
residue like paddy straw.
Third layer: It is filled with dung.
Fourth layer: It is filled with re-digested materials.

Put earthworm in the pit.
4.
Spray the water and maintain the moisture.
5.
After 3-4 months, vermicompost will get ready to
use.
Windrows Method:
1.
Prepare a bed as per the organic waste available.
2.
Load the organic waste and earthworm.
3.
Cover with dry agricultural waste.
4. Spray the water and maintain the moisture.
5.
After 2 month, vermicompost will get ready to use.
